The Phase II Regionalization Assessment for Johnston County, North Carolina, was presented to County Commissioners last week. The County is evaluating water and wastewater regionalization alternatives for its eleven public jurisdictions and two private utilities. A presentation was provided to the County Commissioners on Monday night. A second presentation was provided to an elected official work team from all of the county’s towns on Thursday night.
The Phase II Assessment addressed governance, operations, and financial issues. Phase I was completed last year and focused on a detailed assessment of infrastructure, including plants and interconnections.
